From choosing the right location and outfits to capturing your energy and personality, I'll work with you to create authentic, natural portraits that reflect your personality and style. Here's exactly what to expect, from first message to final gallery

I'll guide you through the process and work with you to create images that feel personal to you. I'm based in Hertford, but work with models, individuals, couples and families across London and Hertfordshire.

Initial Enquiry​

After your initial enquiry, I'll get in touch for a chat via phone, email or social media. We'll discuss what you're looking for from our portrait photoshoot and how I can best tell your story.

This is an opportunity to share your vision, bounce ideas around and discuss what you'd like to achieve from the photoshoot. Whether you already have a clear concept in mind or you're looking for some creative direction, we'll work together to develop the shoot.

Planning​

I'll ask about what you would like to achieve from this photoshoot and what style and approach you would like to take. Whether you're looking for natural family portraits, engagement photography, a model portfolio, personal branding or a more creative portrait session, we'll work together to develop an approach that feels right for you.

We'll choose a location that complements you, your style and the type of portrait photography you're looking for. This could be a London street setting for an editorial or model photoshoot, a Hertfordshire countryside backdrop for natural engagement or family photography, a studio for a more controlled portrait session or another location that suits your vision.

We'll discuss any outfits you'd like to incorporate, as well as the atmosphere, mood and overall style you're hoping to capture. If you already have ideas or inspiration, you're welcome to share them or I can help develop ideas based on your personality and the type of portraits you're looking for.

Booking

Once we've discussed your ideas and agreed on the details, we'll confirm a date and time that works for us both.

A 10% deposit is required to secure your portrait photoshoot date, with the remaining balance handled after our photoshoot.

 

Your Vision

Once your photoshoot is booked in, I'll put together a mood board based on the ideas we've discussed. I'll share this with you so you can add your own inspiration, from poses to outfits and any inspiration you'd like to include.

We'll continue to discuss ideas and approach leading up to your photoshoot, so you know what to expect and we can make the most of our time together.

On the Day

I aim to arrive at least 30 minutes before our shoot, to explore the location some more and to get myself and my equipment ready. I'll also take some time to introduce myself and we can talk through the plan before we start shooting.

​

We'll move through our chosen location, trying different poses and ideas that match your vision. ​

​

I'll always work around your preferences and comfort level, If there is a particular pose or style you'd like to focus on, we can adapt the shoot accordingly.

 

Throughout the photoshoot, I'll regularly show you some of the images we're creating. If you'd like to retry a pose, change anything or try something from a different angle, we can do so. If there's a particular image you don't want to use for any reason, just let me know.

Equally, if there are photographs you particularly love and would like me to prioritise during the editing process, I'll make a note of them. The shoot is collaborative, so your input is always welcome.

​

Editing

At the end of the photoshoot, I'll let you know the approximate editing and delivery timescale for your images and confirm your preferred method of receiving your final photographs.

I'll keep you updated during the editing process before delivering your final photographs through your preferred method, such as WeTransfer or a private online gallery.​
